Jeannette Warrs-Health Habits for June

Health Habits For June
  • Take your shoes off and walk round the garden barefoot. Stretch and wiggle your toes, we often forget the tough job they do
  • Put a bowl of fresh fruits on your desk. Just a small cereal bowl with an apple, orange, grapes and something exotic can be cheerful and healthy
  • Treat yourself to a bunch of beautiful flowers and send some to a friend just to say how much they mean to you and see how you feel
  • Only watch or read comedy for a week-do not watch the news
  • Go for a walk with your mobile switched off or better still leave at home and notice how you feel. Relaxed and calm or twitchy because...........
  • Think about what you want to achieve by Christmas and make a plan of action-or ask for help. You could call me!

Invest In Your Health or Spend It?

Don't you get so bored with the whole NEW YEAR, NEW YOU headlines? They appear at the beginning of December when the January magazines come out ( I have never understood that). It blasts all the way through January, making us feel guilty if we haven't made massive changes or worse we decided to and have already failed.

My 'dry' January failed at 12.10pm when more champagne was poured.

SO what about this year deciding to be mindful of your behaviour and notice when you are doing something that will enhance your health and give you a solid return (Investing) or doing something that may have a quick short term pleasure but ultimately will make you feel worse-often tired, lethargic or fat (Spending).

Then make your choice- full of energy and health or tired and fat.
